Born on a eclipse, when they approach their tenth birthday they start a killing spree. Although not that gory, the film sure is violent and has a nice selection of murders. All manner of instruments are used, guns, telephone wire and spades. No one is safe especially if you are an unknown actress stripping off for a love scene. The three pint size killers are effective especially Curtis (Bill Jacoby) a nasty little bastard with a love of shooting people, his looks to the camera are at times quite priceless.
Its all down to taste this one, if you ike the idea of kids killing adults with lots of boobs thrown into the mix I would pick this one up. However if you find the idea a bit tasteless and are scared by 80's fashions, stay well away. Whilst I enjoyed it, its not one I would watch again in a hurry, not to say its not a good film (it is) but one that would be possibly experienced just the once.
Finally, I think this could be just perfect for a remake, but I don't think any studio would have the balls to do this in these PC times. Mind you, 'The Children" was certainly nasty and violent so here's hoping.
